Mass Flow Rate Converter

The mass flow rate is the mass of the substance which passes per unit of time. The SI unit is kilogram per second while the US customary units are slug per second or pound per second. The common symbol for mass flow rate is \(\dot{m}\) (pronounced m-dot) while sometimes \(\mu\) is used.
The mass flow rate is defined by: $$ \dot{m} = \lim_{\Delta x \to 0} \frac{\Delta m}{\Delta t} = \frac{\text{d}m}{\text{d}t},$$ i.e. the flow of the mass \(m\) through a surface per unit time \(t\).
